The 2007 Midwest Astro-Imaging Conference is a two day seminar on the state of the art techniques in astrophotography and image processing. The topics covered are of interest to all skill levels in the art of astrophotography and image processing from beginners to experienced astroimagers. The conference's ten speakers are amoung the most highly regarded astroimagers in the world. Never before has such an array of expertise been gathered in one place in the Midwest.
The 2007 Midwest Astro-Imaging Conference is being held at St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. Rensselaer is roughly halfway between Chicago and Indianapolis. St. Joseph's College is on the south side of Rensselaer on US-231. Modern technology enabled facilities, a comfortable learning environment, and a quiet, laid back atmosphere make this the ideal location for this event. Breakfast and lunch in St. Joseph's dining facility are included for registered participants, and there is comfortable air conditioned lodging available on campus.
The 2007 Midwest Astro-Imaging Conference is being held Friday and Saturday July 13-14, 2007. It is being held as a simultaneous, but separate event with the EPOCH 2007 Star Party 14 miles to the west in Beaver City, Indiana. The conference hours are 9am-5pm on both days. A shuttle bus service is available for transportation between the Star Party's observing field location and St. Joseph's College.
